Laboratories that conduct EGFR testing

The 'epidermal growth factor receptor' (EGFR) gene is frequently mutated in lung cancer patients. Recent studies have found that EGFR gene mutations are more common among women, asian patients, never smokers, and patients with adenocarcinoma histology. Patients with EGFR mutations may be effectively treated with medications that block abnormal EGFR function, such as Tarceva. The laboratories listed below offer testing for mutations in the EGFR gene.
