Specimen Requirements
  • In almost all cases, existing biopsies will be sufficient to run the CollabRx research analyses:  formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples are acceptable as are flash frozen.
  • With the patient's permission, CollabRx can work with the treating physician and the hospital’s pathology lab to arrange for the right samples to be sent.
  • If you are planning a new biopsy, please contact us if time is available.  Additional preservation methods may increase the range of technologies that can be used to analyze the patient's samples.
